A Stoney Creek shop that grew up around rolls

Campli Metals Inc. has been machining in Stoney Creek, Ontario since 1991. What began as a jobbing shop grew into a dedicated roll operation: today the floor combines a modern, fully equipped roll shop with large-capacity turning for custom work.

Thirty years of roll grinding experience sits behind every job. Our two large Farrel grinders, backed by a 25-ton overhead crane with a 10-ton auxiliary hook, let us take on rolls other shops have to turn away — and the same floor handles wear liners, bushings and intricate double-shelled, liquid-cooled rolls.

We work directly with mill maintenance teams and manufacturers across Southern Ontario and into the United States. Most of our work is repeat business, which is the only credential a shop like ours really has.
